Charlie McCurdy is Informa Markets’ Non-Executive Chairman and a Strategic Advisor to Informa Plc. He has over 30 years of experience in events and business-to-business media and has held a number of top executive roles during his career, leading the process of transforming, expanding and creating value at a range of companies. Charlie joined Informa in September 2015 as CEO for Informa Markets.

Prior to joining Informa, Charlie was CEO at George Little Management where he partnered with Providence Equity Partners to acquire and run the company in 2011. Prior to this he worked with Spectrum Equity Investors to acquire Canon Communications and was Canon’s CEO for five years. Earlier in his career Charlie co-founded Primedia, Inc and oversaw the acquisition, development and growth of niche media companies serving consumers and businesses. Charlie graduated from Yale with a BA in Literature and received his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Columbia Business School.
